Authors: Radu Andreica, Maria Voroneanu, Carmen Vicol

Abstract:

The dental pratice is exposed to the hemorrhagic risk, as any of the surgical branches of medicine, involving the patient’s general health status but also the dental practitioner. The dentist has to find the origin of the hemorrhage and he has to establish if the bleeding accident is caused by general factors (depending on coagulation), local factors (mostly belonging to the the
local conditions) or by the surgical procedure.
