A range of elements influences the onset, clinical presentation and the progression of the periodontal disease: subject characteristics, social and behavioral factors, systemic and genetic factors, that become periodontal disease risk factors. Our method for periodontal patient’s risk factors assessment uses multifactorial risk diagram, realized in Microsoft Excel program and which allows a simultaneous assessment of all identified periodontal risk factors.
