Abstract:

The purpose of the study is the measuring of the corrosion potential of dental alloys in simulated solutions. Material and method: For the studies were used five metallic alloys: gold, Paliag, Gaudent, Verasoft, amalgam. As corrosion environments were used three artificial salivas: Afnor, Fusayama Meyer, Rondelli. The results: In all three environments, the Paliag alloy has the smallest probability of corrosion, while amalgamm has the highest possibility of corrosion, the Fusayamam Meyer artificial saliva seems to be the least corrosive environment, while the Rondelli saliva is the most aggressive fluid for most alloys.
