THE IMPACT OF POSTOPERATORY MANIFESTATIONS IN ORAL SURGERY

Authors: Budacu C, Voroneanu Maria

Abstract:

The manifestations of postoperatory illness, although they have a relatively high incidence both in oro-maxillofacial surgery and in general surgery, were very scarcely studied up to present. In the oral and maxillo-facial surgery the post-operator illness installs rapid, in a few hours after the surgical intervention, indicating especially the nervous origin more than the toxic origin incriminated in the forms of tardive post-operator illness known in general surgery. The aim of this prospective study was to evaluate the
incidence and clinical pattern of post-operator manifestations with a view to identify the types, incidence, and pattern of healing complications following surgical manoeuvres in oral domain.
