Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to complete study procedures by the use of techniques analizing the reactivity of host to the presence of a collagenic implanted material. The actual studies addresing to clinical response assessment of RTGs procedures by the use of collagen barriers show variable results, being accepted the still not very well knowledge of their physical and chemical features.
By now, the studies addressed to the barrier resorbative process are mainly in vivo, comparative studies, limited only to samples qualitative / quantitative analisys, these being taken at certain periods of time. It is in our intention to define and establish the principles of different parameters use in order to characterize the host – polymer relation, relevant parameters in adjacent domains, refering to the tissue redox character and polymeric material respectivelly.
